Are we back in Belleville?

We noticed a sign for "selbst pflucken erdbeeren" along the side of the road last weekend, so we decided to check it out. Sure enough, there was a huge strawberry field for self-picking! Just like back in Michigan! We'd never gotten around to taking the kids berry picking back home, so we did here. They LOVED it. Aidan had been learning about plants at school and worked in his class garden, but the fruit and veggies hadn't grown enough to pick yet when school got out. The kids were enthralled with finding the perfect berries. We got almost 2kgs of berries and ate them within the next two days. Fun times!
